deep in love with leaves that were crawlin'
out with the waves in the hot summer daze
where the current carried me right in
wadin' in deep to my chin
felt the current whirrin' on my skin
watched the sunset, no regrets,
held my breath, had a laugh, clapped,
and then dove right in
paddled past a bowed rowed "emotion"
made my way to front row explosions
where the lights line the waves, celebrate the holidays
and I smiled in the reflection
"Happens 3 times, it's an omen", that's what Mama Earth once had spoken
told that turtle detour towards the shore, once more
on the beach you'll meet the shiniest gems
cubit through your meditations, leaf through life- it's all a vacation
intentions-turned-gold, shine souls,
books on hold, just takin' space at local locations...

the story of the Flower and Klem was written on the same hand as them
a Flower on the shore wouldn't sit still no more, bored, she gazed in deep reflection
that's when she caught a glimpse of him
movin' through the grooves towards the ocean
as he shifted shimmered past, workin' fast, hard at task,
diligently polishin' gems
the water wets the gems, shinin', the light hits em' right, diamonds
but take 'em up to the shore, there they'll glisten no more
til' you take em' tastes-a hydration
"if it happens 3 times its an omen," that's what Mama Earth once had spoken
if it seems to sparkle bright, in-sight, hold it tight, hitch a ride and take the wave in motion
the Flower felt like reelin' him in, instead she just jumped right in
saw the scales, they'll prevail,
felt better, wetter,
and now he's teaching her to swim.
